Anselmo Sporting Clay Course Enjoy a unique outdoor challenge with friends or family at Anselmo Vineyards. Compete against fellow hunters while enjoying the great outdoors. The Anselmo sporting clay course features 12 stations ideally situated on the rolling hills of the estate.

Sporting Clay shooting is an emerging sport that continues to grow in popularity. Men and women alike enjoy the unique outdoor adventure. Differing from skeet shooting, sporting clay courses are designed to mimic the flight patterns of game birds. Sporting clays simulates the experience of live-quarry shooting, offering a great variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes. Targets can move through trees, high overhead, down a hill, and move toward or away from the shooter.

The varying position, speed, and flight path of the “clays” imitate the unpredictability of an authentic hunting experience. Guests may bring their own guns or use the equipment provided. All clay’s are supplied and transportation  is provided around the course.
